Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, an artist's daughter, born in Mexico, was born to a music-loving family. The majority of her childhood was spent listening to classical music, old boleros, and traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana is a lover of opera and tangos, along with the dramatic shows that she attends. At age 16 she started singing and studying music with her mother. Flavio, a Mexican Tenor with a renowned reputation, began to give her more intense training in singing. Her music training continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University. In the following years, she was a student at an institution called the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. When she was a student, as well when she was a professional young within Mexico City and Guadalajara she performed with various chamber groups and choirs. Following her move into the United States, she performed as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then in 2002 she relocated to Southern California. She currently is a part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and often performs as a soloist with the traditional Latin American music at private occasions. as a music teacher and musician Ana is a dedicated participant in many projects in the community because of her passion and love for music. Ana is also an ex-member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana is hoping that, through her sharing her love of Latin American traditional songs, that she can inspire a love, especially for the young generation in keeping the music in the present.
