Jessica Chastain

 Jessica Michelle Chastain, born on March 24, 1977, is an American actress. She is most well-known for her performances in films with themes of women's empowerment. She has been awarded numerous awards including an Academy Award, and a Golden Globe Award. Time magazine named her one the top 100 influential people globally in 2012. Born in 1962, she was a star and began her acting career from a young age. Her stage debut was in 1998, when she portrayed Shakespeare's Juliet. After completing her acting studies at Juilliard School, she was offered a talent-holding contract from John Wells. Law & Order: Trial by Jury was one of her regular guest appearances on television. Chastain was also a part of stage productions of Anton Chekhov's production of The Cherry Orchard (2004) and Oscar Wilde's tragic play Salome (2006). Her debut on film with Jolene (2008) at 31 years old and had her first six films released in the year 2011.
